Schatz Elexacta in Good Working Order

This vintage carriage clock was made by the respected German clockmaker Schatz it has a Schatz mechanical movement driven by a battery & is one of the early battery clocks, these Elexacta clocks were  some of the pioneer models for todays battery clocks & are quite collectable, this model in the style of a carriage clock is one of the harder to find models

The clock has been in my collection for a few years now, it has a mechanical movement, the balance/escape gear can be seen moving in the lower window of the clock, the case is steel with an ornate pattern, the clock is in very good working condition, the metal case has a few minor chips & blemishes, the clock can be regulated by the adjustment accessed through an opening panel on the underside, the measurements are: 130mm high (160mm inc. carry knob) x  85mm wide x 50mm deep

The clock keeps reasonable time within a couple of minutes each week, it may need adjusting after travelling, it was designed to take the old style "C" cell battery but a modern AA will fit & operate the clock, the clock has a click noise every minute, it isn't a fault it's the vintage movement which has a self setting impulse type of action, it was designed & made that way, it's not too loud but mentioned for accuracy, please check the photo's for details of the style & general condition
