Vintage 1950's Vanity Case with Original Cruise Label

Very unusual late 1950's vanity case with actual cruise ship label still attached:

  • Red striped and red panels
  • Mirrored inside lid
  • Original travel label stuck to outside lid of case which reads: "The Scandinavian Route - The United Steamship Co. Ltd. Copenhagen" & "Via Harwich-Esbjerg"
  • The label itself has handwritten details: "Name:  Mrs D" rest removed Vessel name, cabin number "145" and date: "19 July 60"
  • Measures: 13 inches long x 8 inches deep x 7 inches high 
  • A real piece of history!

The case itself is a little dirty externally and has some water stains internally on the lining, but is very solid and sturdy. The label has had a tiny section removed that originally had the passenger surname on.
