Vintage 3 Pc Mirror Canisters Handpainted Snowman Trio

This is a set of three vintage metal Mirror canisters with wooden knobs.

I have base painted the canisters with a dark midnight blue.  I used a snowman trio pattern by Jamie Mills price for one side.  These sweet little snowmen have hats and jackets and each is holding a heart shaped wreath that I dotted with red berries. 

Along the bottom of the snowmen, I added some snow.  When completed, I splattered the canisters with white which even added to the snowy effect.  The wooden knobs are each painted with a snowman face.  Once completed, I added several layers of sealant to protect the paint from wear.

I didn't paint the interior so that remains in the original condition.  The largest canister measures about 5 1/4" without the lid.

These were so much fun to paint.  I hope you enjoy viewing them and that they bring a smile to your face as they did mine.
