VINTAGE 80s DIESEL INDUSTRY JEANS ~ HIGH WAISTED, STRAIGHT LEG, SIZE 31~ XC

This pair of vintage 1980s "Diesel Industry Denim Division" jeans are the high waisted, straight leg, loose fit style in dark blue denim. The jeans have 5 pockets, silver coloured rivets and a button-up fly. The legs are definitely wider than a standard straight leg jean and I'd guess they're a more of a 'boyfriend' cut, albiet with the high waist! The denim is lovely and soft. It actually has a silver thread running through it so the jeans have a bit of a metallic sheen to them. They're labelled Size 31, which equates to today's size 12 - 14 but please check the measurements below. They're in great vintage condition with lots of length in the legs (roll them up for a real 'boyfriend' look) and no flaws to report.

Measurements (taken with garment lying flat)

waist = 39 cm
hips = 55.5 cm (approx - measured straight across, level with bottom of fly)
leg length = 107 cm (measured down outside leg seam from top of waistband)
leg length = 76.5 cm (measured down inside leg seam from crotch to hem)
leg width = 22 cm (measured across the bottom of the leg)

Postage

The jeans will be posted in a 3kg Pre-Paid Parcel Post satchel at a cost of $9.90 to anywhere in Australia.

I recommend Registered Post for an extra $2.80. This service not only gives a tracking number and proof of posting, but also includes $100 insurance. Just send me a message as soon as possible after the auction ends and I'll send you a revised invoice.

I will happily combine postage if you are interested in any of my other items.
