 A really nice example of a vintage ACADEMY centrepin reel ,i think it is bakelite,is missing one handle but i think it would be easily replaced,this reel is quite well made,still has the line guide and the nice Y-BACK stlye of mounting,as well as the Academy Award logo on the back,this reel would restore very well or could be displayed as is .
