Vintage Bakelite Fishing Reel.

From 1940's - 1960's era?

Made of bakelite?

Alvey Brand.

Charles Alvey & Son, Brisbane on the center of the reel. (see Photo)

Made in Australia on the back near the press button.

It is 92mm in Diameter and 65mm in width from the Knobs. (See photo)

The condition is as follows

There ar NO cracks or chips on it that I can see. The are a few scuff marks on the back chrome side from age and use and it does show some slight age wear (Nothing bad). It has a press button on the back for turning the reel for casting out. (See Photo) and it does have some very minor surface rust on it (Hardly Nothing) Good condition for it's age.

I Rate the Condition "considering it's age" about 8.75 out of 10.
