On offer is a genuine vintage Bendigo Pottery 2 litre lidded casserole dish - in their traditional dark, high lustre salt glaze. It tapers upward from a smaller base to a wider opening. It has the oval impress mark with BENDIGO POTTERY AUSTRALIA and potter’s initials K.C.
In excellent condition; just some rub wear on the base. Judging by the unglazed portion of the lid ring it appears to have been rarely, if at all, used.
Size: weighs 2.8 kgs unpacked; 6.5” (165mm) high (with lid on) x 9” (230mm) diameter at top; 6” (150mm) diameter base.
