This old "CARIS BROS" wooden mantle clock is in very good restorable condition together with original front glass and rear wooden door. It is unfortunatley missing the key and the pendulum, but does work and i had turned the arms to the hour and the hammer did strike the bars and it did chime the correct times, so that side of it still works and over all appears to be in very good working order . It is 500 mm wide x 230 mm high x 150 mm deep . I have never seen operating instructions inside the door as this one has. It is being listed for someone else, their reserve was ridiculous, so i suggested to start at this price and what it finishes at will be it's value and everyone should be happy..!  It is very good for it's age [whatever that may be?] ! It could do with a clean and restoring the cabinet and sold as is. No reserve and will be sold to the highest bidder for only $0.99 cents Start..!
