E. Ingraham Stratford mantle clock, circa 1929 Made by the E. Ingraham Co. Bristol Ct. Perfect Movement . The clock has an 8-day spring powered brass movement with half-deadbeat escapement. It strikes the hour on a coiled gong and on the bell on the ½ hour. The case is all wood with gold painted body with metal feet and handles to eith side. The movement is a bit unusual in that the pendulum is on the front side of the movement directly behind the dial.
Clock measures approx 48cm x 30cm x 12cm. Dial size : - 11.5cm diamater. Case is fully original and in EXCELLENT condition (as shown). Gorgeous gold detailing to the dial.
