Welcome!  

Up for your consideration is a set of vintage hand fans.   One fan advertises the BP (Blended Protein) Company of Iowa City Iowa and the other advertises the MFA Insurance Company of Des Moines Iowa.   Highly collectable!!!!

Description:   Antique set of 2 fans.   The handles are wood and the fan is a pressed paper of a sort.   Both fans are in very good condition for their age.   Based on the 5 digit phone number I would estimate these to be from the 50's.     

Approximate measurements:    The BP fan measures 12" tall including the handle and the fan is 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" wide.   The MFA fan measures 12 3/4" tall including the handle and the fan is 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" wide.

Markings:   Feed BP Blended Protein,  Protein Blenders, Inc.  Iowa City Iowa.  BP has produced more champion livestock at the Nation's top Shows than any other feed companies combined...   (on BP fan)    M-F-A Insurance,  MFA Mutual Insurance....Office West Des Moines Iowa,  Ph 5-4370.             

Condition:   Very good condition with some minor wear around the edge of the fans.   See description above for further info on the condition.   

Additional information:    Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that there may be casting flaws.   I will declare all major casting flaws that I find.   Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Shipping & Insurance:   Extreme care will be taken in packing your item.   Alaska and Hawaii contact me for a shipping quote.   If the address that I receive from e-bay is an unconfirmed address then I will need you to verify the address that you want your item shipped to.   Your item will not be shipped until I receive this information.   Shipping discounts are available with combined purchases.   Contact me for the details & limitations.    Insurance is required for all items over $20.00.   Some items may be disassembled for shipping.

Returns:   Item(s) are sold "as is".  I will refund the purchase price only, shipping cost both ways will not be refunded.   I will refund only if item was incorrectly listed or misrepresented in the description.   You must contact me within 3 days of receiving the item before any refund will be considered and before return shipment occurs.   In which case the item or items must be returned in the same condition in which they were shipped.
