  • Quite remarkable !
  • That's what this 8cm by 3.5 cm  recessed furniture lock, by Lowe and Fletcher is !
  • It's from 1947, an is in unused condition, in that it has been lying untouched, still wrapped in its paper, the key is still in it's oiled paper, for many, many years.(if it were a Classic Car, it would be a barn find !!)
  • It shows a little ageing, but then , what or who doesn't, after 62 years !
  • It's collectable in it's own right, and would also be of interest to retro furniture makers, or for replacing an existing lock.
  • It works perfectly, with a beautiful action !
