Vintage Antique Lemon and Lime Rhinestone Bracelet
Description: This is a circa 1960s bracelet by the designer "Judy Lee". This is an unsigned piece but it unmistakably belongs to the Gigi line of jewellery produced by Judy Lee in the 1960s.
This bracelet features amazing art glass rhinestones, known as "cuba glass". The rhinestones are an abstract shape and are a beautiful lemon/lime hue. The stones are prong set into gold tone metal and linked together. The gold tone setting is heavy, is attractively textured and good quality.
The rhinestones are flat and finely faceted. They are open backed and unfoiled, another indication of the high quality of this piece.The bracelet has a safety chain as is typical with more expensive pieces from the 1960s. The clasp is fold over.
This is a nice chunky bracelet and the rhinestones are lovely.

Measurements (Note: all measurements are approximate): The bracelet is 19 cm long not including the clasp. The stones are 2.2 cm x 2 cm.
Construction: Gold tone metal. Rhinestones.
Condition: No visible wear to the gold tone. All stones intact and original. Clasps work well.

About vintage jewellery
All my vintage items are at least 25 years old. Because the jewellery I sell is old, it may show signs of wear. If you wish to buy perfect, mint condition jewellery then I do not recommend buying vintage items.
I do not recommend vintage costume jewellery for everyday wear. I suggest wearing these pieces for special occasions. Older pieces may be fragile and should be worn with respect and care.
I do not recommend cleaning vintage jewellery. Only professional cleaning is recommended for the pieces in my store. |
