James Kent Pretty-as-a-Picture!

A gorgeous old James Kent handpainted platter - would be a glorious display plate too.

This delightful plate has a 'sponged' effect finish to it in bright green - not muted as appears in photo.  

The sprays of flowers are superb -in relief- and their handpainted colours bright and vibrant.The plate is gold rimmed which is in good Vintage shape.

Stamped underneath "James Kent Ltd Longton Made in England" and a number  -possibly - 115 G.

Measures 23.5 in diameter and features four fluted edges giving a 'cushioned' style effect.

Crazing to the base - underneath only that i can find. No chips/cracks - lovely condition overall.

A glorious piece of old English China.
