Vintage Louis XV Style Floral Chandelier Mantel Urn

T his vintage Louis XV style brass et noir chandelier mantel urn is simply perfect for a Parisian-inspired home.
The urn is in excellent condition save for a few minor scratches to the interior of the neck and a pinprick sized hole in the side where the etching has gone through (this can only be seen from the interior). Adding to its beauty is a glittering collar of faceted smoky noir prisms. The etching is skillful and beautifully designed with floral reliefs, vivid scrolls and bands of varying widths. Sadly, the photographs do not do this stunning piece justice and it must be held and examined to be fully appreciated.

Brass and ebony hued pieces find particular favour with the French as the contrast between these hues makes for a dramatic statement which is ideal for focal display pieces.

35cm (height) x 12.5cm (diameter at opening) x 11cm (diameter of base)

As most of my items are pre-owned they are rarely in pristine condition unless described as such. Whilst I will detail relevant flaws, I may not mention the very minor wear and tear commensurate with age as this is to be expected.
