Vintage c1925 Miniature Kerosene Oil Lamp SWIRLED PATTERN with Acorn Burner

Marked The P & A MFG CO ACORN

Up for sale is a miniature kerosene oil lamp in clear glass with a SWIRLED Pattern.  The lamp has an Acorn Burner marked “The P & A MFG CO ACORN” and a screw on collar.  The base of the lamp also has a “7” on the center of the base.  These lamps were filled with perfume oil and sold in the 1920s and 1930s.

The lamp is shown on page 117 of Ruth Smith’s 2000 book, Miniature Lamps II.

The lamp is in Excellent condition except could use a good cleaning.  There is no chimney.  The detail on this lamp is beautiful!

Approximate measurements:  4 in. high without the burner and 5-3/8 in. high with the burner
