Her full name was Ann-Terry D'Andre. According to the SF Chronicle website, she was "a protege of john hammond and performed with many bands, including Benny Goodman where she competed with Peggy Lee for lead singer." Very active in the American Guild Variety Artists. Peformed around, lived in San Francisco. In later years, she was a Juvenile Probation Officer for the City and County of San Francisco. Sounds like she was a very interesting, very compelling person.... photo is in great condition. corners maybe a little soft. and paper is lightly toning from age. some light surface scratches and other signs of wear and handling. please don't hesitate should you have any questions or concerns.
