You are bidding on the amazing Rare Pioneer Disco Robo Boombox. This Boombox is one of the rarest boombox's ever made. This Boombox is a unique crossover device as it can not only be used ot play tapes, listen to  the radio but can also be used as a PA with its MIC input as well as a guitar amplifier via its Guitar input.

 The unit features the ultimate 80's button - the "DISCO" button (see pics below). The front speaker grill boasts about a super loud "109dB". There are no cracks in the casing.  The only issue I can see is the plastic membrane over the tape controls is weathered - please see pics below. All speakers are original and the grills are dent free. The unit features a mech to swing the speaker to a wider position to produce a larger soundstage. I have throughly tested this unit and the sound quality is good. The radio works perfectly, the Cassette Deck needs repair (sounds like it needs new belts as you can hear the motor engage ing FF, REW and PLAY. The boombox features a Linein which allows you to play your CD player or iPod. The pic of the rear shows that this unit works on 10D batteries. As you can see from the pics below the boombox is in very good condition. This item is heavy, i will provide approx wieghts shortly.
