Here's an outstanding coffee table that speaks volumes for the care that the previous owners lavished on it - it truly is in magnificent condition!
Most likely dating to the 1950s if not earlier, the table is made from solid mahogany. The woodwork and joinery are in excellent condition.
The table features:
- A beautifully grained table top, with a carved, pie crust edge.
- Tapered cabriole legs with scrolled feet, pointed toes and shell motifs on the knees.
- Its original glass, which has light surface scratches but is otherwise in excellent condition. Its edges are bevelled, both top and bottom.
All of the carvings are intact and undamaged.
There are a very few marks of normal wear and tear, but they're nothing more than what you'd want to see in the patina of such a beautiful, old piece.
If you're looking for a quality coffee table that's been extraordinarily well looked after, then this piece would be perfect. It would certainly be a gorgeous addition to your lounge!
Dimensions: The table is 895mm wide x 435mm deep x 440mm tall as measured at its extreme points.
Pickup is from Rowville, Melway map 73. For a small fee, I can deliver the coffee table to you if you're in metropolitan Melbourne. Viewing prior to the auction is welcomed.

Pickup
Pickup is OK. Most days between 10:00am and 6:00pm are fine. The pickup location is Rowville (Melway map 73).
Items need to be picked up within 10 days of the end of the auction. If you need more time, please do let me know in advance.
Delivery
For a small fee, I can deliver the coffee table to you if you're in metropolitan Melbourne.
If something isn't right...
If when you receive the coffee table and something isn't right with it, please do let me know within 7 days of receiving it. I will do my best to correct the situation for you.
