Presented for sale a nice quality SICURA DIVERS 23 Jewel Men's 1960's/70's watch

 

General Description

This is a nice chunky SICURA 23J handwound watch  from the 1960's/70's in a chrome plated/stainless steel case on a 'Jubilee' style SS band.

Case

The chunky DIVERS case is of chrome plate/stainless steel, measuring 40mm by 46mm (excluding winding button). The SS screw back is signed SICURA, WTER RESISTANT 400, STAINLESS STEEL BACK and VACUUM TESTED. There is a moveable bezel coloroured blue and marked in minutes. The case is in good overall condition with some surface marks due to daily use to some areas and some wear through on lug corners. 

 

Movement

The good quality 23 jewelled SICURA cal.29 handwound movement is signed 23 Jewels, SWISS and SIC 29, is in good physical condition, runs well and keeps good time (within a minute a day or better).  The watch has been recently serviced.

 

Dial

The black dial has the SICURA, 23 Jewels, Superwaterproof 400, Vacuum Tested and All Swiss Made emblems, is in good original condition with no aging. The hands are silver/radium green with a silver sweep seconds. The  hour markers are radium green coloured.

 

Strap

The watch is fitted with a good quality, 'Jubilee' pattern sainless band with deployment clasp.
