Up for your consideration is a vintage Standard Oil thermometer.   This thermometer is made of steel or tin and has the original paint and design.   It has areas were it is faded along with some minor scratches and spotting.   Highly collectable!!!!

Description:   Antique Standard Oil thermometer.   It measures from -50^ to 120^.   The glass tube is still intact.

Approximate measurements:    The thermometer is 11 1/2" tall and is 3 1/8" wide.   It is 1/2" deep.

Markings:      Standard Home Heating Oils with Sta-Clean, Made in U.S.A.,  SP 1545.

Condition:       Good condition for its age with areas of surface rust, scratches and fading.   See pictures for condition.   See description above for further info on the condition.

Additional information:    Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that there may be casting flaws.   I will declare all major casting flaws that I find.   Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Shipping & Insurance:   Extreme care will be taken in packing your item.   Alaska and Hawaii contact me for a shipping quote.   If the address that I receive from e-bay is an unconfirmed address then I will need you to verify the address that you want your item shipped to.   Your item will not be shipped until I receive this information.   Shipping discounts are available with combined purchases.   Contact me for the details & limitations. Insurance is required for all items over $20.00.   Some items may be disassembled for shipping.

Payment:    Payment is expected within 7 days of the end of the auction.

Returns:   Item(s) are sold "as is". I will refund the purchase price only, shipping cost both ways will not be refunded.   I will refund only if item was incorrectly listed or misrepresented in the description.   You must contact me within 3 days of receiving the item before any refund will be considered and before return shipment occurs.   In which case the item or items must be returned in the same condition in which they were shipped.
