This is a collector restorers dream come true. All the running gear is in working order. I have personally bench tested the motor and 3 speed transmission and can vouch for the fact that it works in all gears including 4wd. The speed controller works fine and the mighty Bruiser runs forward in all 3 gears and reverse.

I've taken as many pics as I could to show you the condition and detail.  The body as you can see is a bit ordinary.  The Tranny is missing the rubber grommets over the inspection holes.  You can source parts from Bruiser Builder (google it) or JR-RC.  Other than that, there are no missing parts from the chassis and nothing broken in the running gear.  Uni joints still good.  Tyres hardly worn.  Check out the pics for yourself. No radio gear or battery sorry.  I just ran it with a battery from another one of my toys.

I have a PDF of the original production manual that I will email to the successful buyer when the auction ends.

I was hoping to do this one up myself but no time to tinker at the moment so I'm reluctantly letting the Bruiser go.

I'm happy to Pack and Post the Bruiser to anywhere on the planet as long as you are happy to pay the postage cost.  That would have to be calculated at the end of the auction.
Registered post only as I wouldn't want this to go missing.

A bit of Background on the Bruiser for your info...

One of the coolest creations that Tamiya produced because it featured a 3 speed shift on the fly transmission that was activated via a third channel. The first gear would engage 4wd for climbing while second/third gears were only rwd for better speed.

Unfortunately it’s high initial cost, and the fact that for it to work as Tamiya intended it needed a three channel radio, resulted in relatively few people being able to buy one. Three channel radio gear was a bit pricey for the car enthusiast back then. In the end poor sales spelled the end for the Bruiser.

May people have begged Tamiya to re-release the Bruiser but to no avail.  It seems that the intricate detail and quality parts from the late 80's are not economically viable to reproduce anymore. The current popularity of the Bruiser is a testimony to the quality of both it's design and style.

Rare as a bank error in your favour, there's not many people willing to part with one these days.  I'm wiping the tears from my eyes as I type this but I have to move on.  Hopefully The Bruiser will go to a loving home!

Check out this great original vintage video of the mighty Bruiser in action.

Just wanted to Add packaging details so you can work out postage. 63cm(L) x 35cm(W) x 40cm(H) between 5.5 - 6kg weight would be a safe bet to allow for good safe packaging and box. The Bruiser itself weighs 4kg and the box 1kg so add some packaging in there and it would still come in under 6kg. Cheers
