| Vintage Western Electric Trimline Telephone! Beige 1971 model restored & working! This phone is not a faded, yellowed memory of Beige, it has been meticulosly refinished back to the original color. The phone was completely disassembled and the plastics were wet sanded down to the original color and then polished and buffed in a three stage process to give it a nice luster. It looks as good as it did in 1971! All the inside components were cleaned, inspected and tested during the restoration. It has the original coiled thick handset cord with the large plugs and I have added a matching color beige line cord with a modular end to plug into any phone outlet. This 38 year old phone works great! It has a clearer sound than the new electronic speakerphone that is on my desk! These older touchtone phones are sensitive to line polarity and these days the phone company is not concerned with polarity so if you plug it in and it will not dial simply remove the 2 screws on the modular plug and switch the red & green wires to correct the polarity.
