  Exquisite  Vintage

TABLE CLOTH with crochet filet edges

soft white cotton centre- 70cm square- trimmed with pulled thread embroidery

bordered by crocheted fillet lace- 43cm deep- featuring a bi-plane in centre surrounded by bi-plane and crosses, scalloped edges

 very rare design - never seen another

table cloth has always been displayed on a smallish table - centre cotton has been pulled by weight of crocheted edges- so looks best displayed with edges drapped over edge.

I have not washed the cloth, it has been lightly ironed and starched- future washing may flatten centre

Excellent vintage condition- no holes, tears or stains- 1 or 2 tiny tiny rust marks

one corner of centre square is a little unravelled- see photo- easy repair- does not detract from piece at all- have to look close to see it
