This vintage linen is a table runner, or could also be used as a dresser scarf.  This linen has a subtle stripe pattern running through it, with floral images here and there on the pattern, and a pretty lacy scalloped edging at both ends.  It measures 41 inches X 21 inches.

The elderly lady who owned this linen died in 1970 and it has been in storage ever since.  As you see it in the picture, is the way it was found - still crisply ironed. The edges and folds have only slightly browned from age; I cannot see serious soiling marks and no rips or tears are apparent. I think if it is laundered carefully, it will come back to original elegance.   

This woman had a large quantity of vintage linens, and I have been listing them all week.  This table runner is the last linen of this same woman's lot of linens.  I have saved a nice one for the last.
