A vintage (ca. 1940s) tiple in good playing condition. The tiple is an instrument originally from Colombia that is tuned like a ukulele, with 10 strings in courses of 2-3-3-and 2. This tiple has a very rich sound when strummed either with fingers or with a pick. The maker's label in the soundhole has been torn away, but it appears similar to instruments made by the Regal company (made in Chicago for the first half of the 20th century). Comes with original canvas case (which has a closure which reminds me of the old rubber boots we used to wear in the 1950s!) that is well-worn but in one piece. No Reserve!
