Viscose Yarn, 200 gram skein, from Nepal

This handspun luxury yarn  is a type of rayon and has the feel of velvet. Each 200 gram skein has approximately 300 yards. It has a lovely drape and makes superb shawls or shrugs when knitted up on larger needles.

Viscose is a cellulose product like cotton, so it breathes, absorbs moisture and is comfortable to wear, making it ideal for much of the Australian winter, when we do not always need the warmth of pure wool.

This yarn is handspun on charkhas by women's groups in Nepal, and thus provides an essential additional income to support and improve their family's earnings

Please read the following to avoid upsets after the auction closes:

• Postal charges are determined by total weight and a small handling fee, regardless of the number of items. Total weight includes adequate packaging to ensure the safe arrival of goods and while I keep it as light as possible, it will always be more than the combined weight of the items you purchase!
• I need a postal address that is registered with Ebay/Paypal. I also need a valid email address!
• All items are sent by registered mail.
• Overseas payments MUST be via Paypal.  Australian bidders,  I  am happy to work with you on this issue. You will find my banking details and address on the “item won” emails Ebay sends out. 
• Goods are sold as is - I try to describe to the best of my ability.
• I post once money is received and cleared and email once goods are dispatched.
• If your computer dies, the dog eats the MO, etc, please contact me.
