Viscount NIPPER Caravan 1987

Early model Little Nipper in good age related condition. Tare weight a meagre 590KG means this van can be towed by virtually any car, regardless how small. It has a good 3 way Electrolux RM2301 frig which gets cold quickly. A good 4 burner gas stove with grill is also fitted. It is wired for both 12 volt and 240 volt, and has a battery installed which charges via an Anderson plug while being towed. This battery along with the gas frig means camping in those quiet spots and still having lights are possible without risking your car battery. As well, the frig runs on this 12 volt supply during the day - much safer then towing whilst gas is burning.

Van has a 12 volt lighter socket, as well as 5 double and 1 single 240v power points. Also has an external power point at rear. It has cupboards on both sides, as well as a hanging cupboard for clothes. One fold down cupboard has cutouts for crockery. There is a shelf above the sink/stove, as well as full width across the head of the beds, and storage under bed and seats. One single bed is permanently in place, with the table forming the second bed. There is both a manual pump over the sink, and a tap plumbed for an external hose.

Van is fully lockable, including the screen door, and has an awning that can be erected either on the back or the side of the van. It is complete with poles, ropes, and pegs, as well as an external pole carrier. There is an electronic TV antennae on the roof, and a spare tyre and jocky wheel. The brakes work well, and it has an excellent hand brake. As with any van this age, there are water marks inside, and I don't doubt it has had some moisture at sometime, however I have never experienced any leaks on the occasions I have used it.

Van has Qld rego, and does not need a roadworthy because it is below 750kg. Gas certificate can be arranged at buyers expense and rego transferred, otherwise sold unregistered. Please ask all questions before bidding, as my opinion of good/bad may be entirely different to yours. This is not a new van - it has been used and loved for a lot of years, and carries the normal scars of wear and tear. Send a message via Ebay to arrange an inspection - you will be welcomed.
