This is a lovely vintage napkin ring or holder that dates to the art deco era and it comes in the form of a Scotty Dog. The body of the ring is made of a rich butterscotch coloured catalin bakelite. The Scotty Dog has a clear red smoothly domed eyes that move from side to side and a very cute posture. The ring is in good condition overall with no major damage. There is a small line? near the Scotty's eye on one side, a mold line on the other side and a couple of tiny little dints to the edge where the napkin sits on one side. Please use the pictures as part of the description and enlarge for the best detail. The napkin ring is 72 mm or 2 13/16" long x 59 mm or 2 5/16" high and 16 mm or 5/8" wide overall. It weighs 30 gms unpacked and can be posted within Australia for $7.15 by registered post.
