WADE Western saddle 16"

The saddle is just gorgeous and has only been ridden in a couple of times. It's light oil in colour and 16", if you are used to riding in an 18-19" English saddle then this should fit you.

It has a hard full leather seat, so no suede or padding. The horn is low and very solid, wrapped with rawhide.

The stirrups/fenders have been professionally turned so it doesn't pull on your ankles.

There is carving throughout the whole saddle except on the seat. I’m not a fan of excessive carving but it really looks a treat on this particular saddle. There's only a small amount of silver on the saddle so it isn't overdone.

The tree is Ralide.

The saddle weighs approximately 16kg

The shoulders on the saddle are sloped, so there are NO points in the saddle to dig into the shoulder wither area. The gullet is 8" wide measured from the rosette and the fork 6" high.  It's a full Quarter Horse Bar SQHB.

It has round skirts  suitable for a short backed horse. It doesn't dig into or rub on their ribs when bending.

I bought the saddle two months ago, It was fitted to a 15.1hh 3yo Purebred Arab, she is the model in the photos. It fits her perfectly, she has a very flat, broad and short back.

A typical WADE saddle is worth around $3,000.
