Bambusa textilis, known as the Weaver's Bamboo, is a medium growing, non-invasive clumping bamboo that originates from China.

It grows 10 metres tall and the culms have a diameter of 5cm. It does not have any branches on the lower half of the stems giving it a clean appearance.

In China, it is an important economic plant, producing high quality timber with a wide variety of uses that include splitting for weaving and handicrafts, flute making and fencing material.

It is very cold and wind tolerant, and is ideal for a hedge or windbreak. Hardy down to -12° C.

For sale is a packet of 10 fresh seeds.
