We are pleased to offer this stunning full board watercolour by WENTEN RUBUNTJA.

For those of you unfamiliar with Wenten's international reputation in the art world as well as his never ending work in both the Aboriginal cultural and political world we suggest you take the time to do a 'Google' search.

Wenten's works are highly prized in many major collections and museums, not only in Australia, but, throughout the world.

Albert Namatjira, the great master himself, had a tremendous influence on Wenten's work.

Huge and spectacular, this painting was completed circa 1989 and is from a private collection.

Of particular interest is Wenten's almost abstract depiction of the distant ranges.

An exceptional painting that would make a great addition to any serious Hermannsburg collection.

For those of you unfamiliar with Australian Aboriginal watercolours  - Wenten was a member of what is widely known as the "Hermannsburg School of Art" of Central Australia.   This style of art was made famous during the 1950s by Albert Namatjira - arguably Australia's most famous Aboriginal artist.   These paintings are considered a worthwhile addition to any collection of Australian art.
