The
Link 800 has a 5.5- inch woofer and 1 inch Mylar dome tweeter,
featuring an internal 60 watt power amplifier with separate level and
tone controls offering extensive control over sound level within its
environment. The two inputs are versatile dual XLR and 1/4" phone jack
designs with active balanced line signal connection.
The Link
800 Series measures are compact units and light in weight giving ease
of installation. Auto on/off sleep feature is indicated through a front
panel mounted LED. When engaged the Link senses a presence or absence
of signal at the input and depending on conditions, places the unit
into standby mode. Once a signal is detected the unit moves seamlessly
and instantly into operational mode and the LED activates. This feature
extends product life and conserves power by effectively turning off the
unit when not needed.
The Link 800 full range active monitor
speakers are available in four solid colours; red, blue, white and
black. Coupled with a small sub-bass unit ( such as the Wharfedale PB
208) a compact, easily transported yet versatile sound system for
application to AV presentations, for example, can be created.
