We offer all our customers a true warranty, on all products purchased. Should an item be defective, damaged, or ‘not fit for the purpose for which it was sold’, a full refund or exchange shall be offered.  Your purchase is covered by Platinum Express Associated’s warranty for a period of 30 days from receipt of goods, after which, the manufacturer’s warranty takes effect.

Item not as described = Full refund + Return postage costs

If an item was falsely advertised, the customer would simply need to return the item, unopened and without physical damage. The item would also need to be sent as Registered Post and Insured to the full value of the purchase price. Upon receipt of the goods, by Platinum Express (us), a full refund + any return postage costs, would take place within 24hrs.

D.O.A. (Defective Goods) = Full refund or exchange + Return postage costs

Should your purchase arrive faulty, we ask you to contact us within 24-48hrs, upon receipt of your goods.

Should the item appear physically damaged (damaged in transit) we may ask you to take several photos, so that a claim may be lodged with Australia Post. We would only then, request for you to return the goods via Registered Post and Insured to the full value of the purchase price. When the item has been received by us, we would remain in contact with you each day until a full refund + postage costs is given to you. Normally, a refund would be given within 3 business days from the said time received by us.

If the item does not appear to be physically damaged, but faulty nevertheless, we ask that you send the item back to us (once you have advised us) via Registered Post and Insured to the value of the purchase price. Once the faulty item is returned to us, the item would be thoroughly tested. Should the item in question be deemed defective, we will either offer a full refund plus all postage costs, or ship a replacement to you, at no additional charge.

If the returned item was deemed not defective, and was indeed ‘fit for the purpose for which it was sold’, the customer would need to cover any return postage costs + insurance as quoted by Platinum Express Associated. The item would be held by us, until payment is made.

Important Note for Video Cards: Overclocking is not covered by any warranty. Should any item show signs of overclocking, all warranties shall be deemed null and void.

Who leaves feedback first?  WE DO!

We always leave Feedback for our customers first (no exceptions). Should a customer decide to leave negative or neutral feedback, no change will take place to any warranty or customer service. Feedback has nothing to do with honoring any warranties or agreements.  I do not subscribe to the idea of withholding feedback for fear of retaliation.
