| DYSON, Will; (born Victoria in 1880, died 1938). Studied at National gallery School under George Coates. He is best known as a Caricaturist and Cartoonist, having contributed to the Melbourne Punch, the Clarion, Table Talk, Adelaide Gadfly, and the Bulletin. In 1910 he married Ruby Lindsay, and moved to London, where he worked for the Weekly Despatch and the London Daily Herald. He was appointed official war artist in 1916, and returned to Australian 1926, but stayed only five years, and died in London in 1938. His work is well represented in Collections in Australia and the UK. This Framed Print is in Good Condition, and measures, 8 1/4 inch by 10 3/4 inch, (21cm x 27.3cm). (Image size). The Frame is 14 1/2 inch by 16 1/2 inch, (36.8cm x 27.3cm). It is UNGLAZED. It would make an Ideal Addition to any Good Collection of Fine Australian WILL DYSON Art. There is NO RESERVE.
