Rug Description Don't Pay $6000 This beautiful large rare Suzanie Tribal Kelim was woven by desert Nomads in the Northern region of Afghanistan. These rugs are amongst the finest of all weaves. It is a recent weave in brand new condition.The Kelim is veg dye and consists of mainly natural earthy colours. The intricate design is mainly linear in nature with repeated diamond shaped motifs throughout the field. It is a particularly fine example of its type. This piece is brand new and is in excellent condition. The dyes used are veg. or natural dyes giving the rug a beautiful rich combination of earthy colours. It is all woollen construction, woven on a woollen warp and weft. It has a most attractive sculptured design which is quite fine as seen on the close up shots. Highly collectable and valuable and would make an ideal scatter rug or a beautiful wall hanging. This rug would appeal to the serious collector.
