Aviation archeology, WW2 British RAF aircraft relics. Part of a large collection of Battle of Britain aircraft and later wartime relics collected in the early days of aviation archeology during the 1960-70s, relics in this condition do not turn up very often as all the sites have been excavated many times since the early days of the 60s and 70s when it was still possible to find relics with remains of paint finish and interesting identifiable parts. This is a mounted display of some crash relics from the cockpit area including an interesting relic part marked "R3002 Supply" and other markings. There is part of what I think is a gyro from the artificial horizon plus what I think is a seat belt buckle, the remains of a pen knife and remains of a pair of MKII flying goggles, see pic. The display board is suffering from age, an easy fix, just remount the relics. Bargain priced (these interesting identifiable relic displays normally sell for £120+), condition see pic. This item contains no offensive markings at all, it is just an aviation item. We only use shipping services that provide a tracking number. |
