An unusual item of Japanese equipment from the Second World War, an ammeter made by YEW. Recently a very similar YEW voltmeter was listed at $275. Dail on front, rubber feet and grill on rear, grill on top and leather handle on right side. Made from bakelite & wood. Hinges on left side that would have been attached to a (missing) dial cover. Has internal contents and could well work. A nember of the small external screws have been removed. Previous (deceased) owner was ex WW2 RAN and an electronics buff. It weighs over 3kg so will cost in excess of $10.00 postage. I have entered $20.85 to cover all postcodes, but will get an exact quote for winning bidder. Can also be picked up from Ringwood East, Victoria.
