You are bidding on a WW2 Philippine Defense Medal in miniature.

Authorized in 1945, to members of the Philippine and United States Armed Forces, for service in the liberation of the Philippines between 17 October 1944 and 3 September 1945 and in the landing operations on Leyte and adjoining islands, engagement of the enemy during the Philippine Liberation Campaign and/or service on vessels in Philippine waters for not less than 30 days between the above dates.

Bronze star device denotes multiple participations.

In 1944, the Philippine Defense Ribbon was established by the Philippine Commonwealth (now the Philippine Republic) to recognize service in the defense of the Philippine Islands between 8 December 1941 and 15 June 1942. It was authorized for wear on the US military uniform by the United States Government in 1945.

This is a U.S made current restrike medal.
