This listing is for one (1) original Dead Stock 1940s vintage Woman’s Work Jumper made of blue cotton Monte Cloth. Seams, tag and material is very solid NOS with some discoloration at the packaging folds (we have found that a simple machine laundering will drastically decrease the discoloration). All pieces are NOS/Dead Stock and still tied in factory bundles as packaged by Turner Wear of Chattanooga, Tenn. You will receive one jumper straight from the bundle. Jumpers feature waist belt, exposed cat eye or dish buttons, concealed white fly buttons, straight "elephant" legs, a rear hammer loop and a badge or ID loop on the left breast. These Jumpers are iconic of Rosie the Riveter and W.O.W. (Women Ordnance Worker) factory workers during WWII. Have a look at the original reference photos in our collection from the Redstone Arsenal in 1943.

Sample in the photos was laundered in a standard washing machine with concentrated detergent.

Marked size 38 with the following true measurements (Tailoring Standard in exterior inches): Chest 43, Sleeve 16, Sleeve Opening 16, Shoulder 17, Back 18, Waist 37, Hips 44, Inseam 30, Outseam 44. Truly a rare find in this condition.
