Wedding Reception for 50 to 60 Sharing The Restaurant

The Voucher entitles the bearer to a Wedding Reception at  Alfred's Homestead Restaurant for 50 to 60 persons sharing the Restaurant from 7pm to Midnight.

We will allow you to pay in two instalments.

We require $1000 on the winning day.

We require the balance 1 week before the actual day.

The offer is valid for a Saturday Night except Christmas Party Nights or any Public Holiday that falls on a Saturday .

A Saturday Night Shared wedding can begin in the gardens at 4:30pm and formally finish as late as Midnight.

You can use this voucher until the 2nd week in November 2011. Of Course, you cannot choose a date that is already booked.

The Voucher has a value of  $3000.00.

 A SHARED WEDDING Reception means that

    -  you are sharing the restaurant with other guests but no other Bride and Groom since we only have one Bridal Change Room with Full Ensuite.

    - you have full use of our Beautiful Romantic Garden for the ceremony if you wish. We have a Path of Wishes with Roses on both sides of the path and we have a Red Carpet with White chairs on either side leading into the Gazebo of Love. The Path of Wishes has Arches in Green with names Health ,Wealth and Happiness. It is truly a romantic setting for a Garden Wedding. If the weather is poor we have a large section in front of our Huge Fireplace which provides a warm setting for a civil reception ceremony.

There is no extra charge for using the Garden or Fireplace for you reception ceremony.

   - we recommend  4:40pm for the garden wedding - when the family photos are completed the Guests can move inside for pre-dinner drinks and Hot and Cold Savouries whilst the wedding couple are having their personal photos taken. The time can be earlier in the winter months . There is no extra charge for the Savouries .

 The Bride and Groom will be ready for the Grand Enterance by  6:15pm and Speeches and a Bridal Dance can be done before Restaurant Guests begin to arrive at 7pm or about 8:30pm with the Homestead Band.

You have  time for some of the more private formalities such as Speeches before Restaurant Guests arrive to Party at 7pm.

The Full Carvery/Smorgasbord with Seafood and 10 Homemade Sweets begins at 7:30 pm so it is important to have savouries at no extra cost if one is drinking alcholic drinks more than 1 hour before eating.

 At 7:30pm we make sure the Bride and Groom are ready before we turn on the lights for the Smorgasbord area so that they can be first to the Smorgasbord and Carvery. 

 Saturday Night we have Live entertainment at No Extra Charge for the Bride and Groom. The Homestead Band begins at approx 8pm and goes to Midnight.

  - the reception setting includes Round Tables,Flowers, Double Linen Tablecloths with Fan Shaped Linen Serviettes with a Colour insert as well as Candelabra and your own area with a Microphone.

- drinks will be on a Consumption Basis  Table Service  or on a Pay-As-You -Go Basis if you wish.

The Bride and Groom may wish to pay for the first $200 say for beer,wine and soft drinks and then Pay-as-you-go Table Service if their $200 runs out.

There is table service pay-as-you-go for other drinks that may be required ie spirits,bottled wines,cocktails , Capucino , Short Blacks and Hot Chocolate

- coffee,tea and filtered iced water are included with the Full Smorgasbord.

- an MC is available if required at no extra charge.

 A circle and the throwing of the bouquet and Garter and formal finish  can be done in our large Foyer at approx Midnight.

 - your Wedding Cake is cut and bagged for you

 - in fact all that is needed from you is the Cake and the Place Cards.

 We have catered for weddings for over 28 years now and we still enjoy and share the excitement with each Bride and Groom on their special day.
