1950's Wembley Ware

Lustre Kookaburra Ashtray

Ashtray that features a Stylised Tree Trunk in Lustre Finish, with a Snake in Relief and Gilded Kookaburra.

This piece has been kept in a Glass Cabinet. It is in Very Good Condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. The very ends of the Kookaburra's Beak, inside the Beak, has no Gilding. It seems to have missed the Gilding process, though could be tiny chips (see photo).

The Ashtray measures approx. 125mm High x 150mm Deep x 133mm Wide and weighs 306gms.
