These vibrant green beads were made in Venice and traded to West Africa.  They are called whitehearts because of the white centre. 

Produced early 1900s. 

Strand approximately 54cm long, each strand has between 90 - 100 beads.

Beads measure 7mmwide x 6mmlong.
