WHITE CLIMBING PEA FLOWER
GENUS HARDENBERGIA VIOLACEA ALBA

The white climbimg pea flower is a trailing or climbing plant that can double as either a screen plant or a groundcover. Flowering in late winter and spring this climber has narrow-lanceolate leaves up to three inches long in a deep dark green and profuse creamy white pea flowers in long sprays. It is easily propagated from scarified seed and is hardy in well-drained soil in a sunny or semi-shaded position and will withstand frost to at least -7C. It is often an answer for cover for that difficult area that does not get much sun, and is excellent for a trellis or smaller pergola.
