This is a GREAT starter pattern for stitchers new to canvas work. It is simple in form and style and uses just five decorative stitches (instructions are given in the pattern). The actual stitch count is not given but, supplies recommend a peice of 18 count canvas cut 6" x 8". With a standard 2" border all around, that would leave a stitch area of 2" x 4". Threads required are Kreinik #12 (032 pearl), and 2 of Kreinik #8 (032 pearl & 001 silver). |
