Wildflowers of Tasmania by H. J. King and T. E. Burns.  Paperback booklet (no publisher) 1986, 109 pages with colour photographs.  Wildflowers of Tasmania is the work of two Launceston naturalists, H. J. King and T. E. Burns. Both are founder members of the Launceston Field Naturalists Club in its modern form. Their lively interest in, and deep knowledge of, native flora are widely acknowledged in Tasmania.  The book is specifically written for those who wish to begin their study of this fascinating subject with words and terms that may be related to their own experiences. Students at both primary and secondary schools as well as interested adults should be able to use the book to discover for themselves the names of some native plants and to increase their knowledge of plants with which they are already familiar. Wildflowers if Tasmania is a very worthwhile contribution to the literature on our native flora.  This booklet is in very good condition. The cover is in very good condition.  There is some minor wear to the corners.  There is some minor shelf wear overall as well as some minor marks and some yellowing.  The book itself is in very good condition.  There are a few very minor marks to the outer edges.  The front endpaper has a crossed out name.  There is some slight yellowing of the pages.  Overall a very good copy.  PLEASE NOTE: postage within Australia for this item will be $1.65.  International postage will be $6.30
