I've been experimenting with MANY of the wired type headsets.

- Now it's time to go wireless -

This setup has full range wide audio and has been working well with my cellphone's Jabra earpiece accessory over the last 6 months.  Working distance is rated at 30 feet and I get good coverage in my whole shack into most of the basement.  I've used it in the car on my Icom 746, it was fun to keep listening outside the car when getting gas and doesn't attract law enforcement when driving.

I've wired this Bluetooth Transceiver directly to the 8 pin connector, MIC and AUDIO work great!!
Simply pair with your bluetooth earpiece, switch on VOX and you're ready to go. 

Pretty cool - Transmit and Receive totally wireless!

This listing includes the Bluetooth Transceiver shown wired for Icom,
AC adapter and transceiver instruction sheet. 

This listing is meant as a way to use your current cellphone bluetooth earpiece with your Icom, the earpiece shown on the pic right is not included.  The adapter works with most bluetooth earpieces, the Jabra brand is what I use.

Works with ALL Icom radios having the 8 pin round mic connector, IC-718, 735, 736, 738, 745, 746, 746PRO, 756, 756PRO, 756PRO-II, 756PRO-III, 751, 761, 765, 775, 781, 7200, 7400, 7600, 7700, 7800, 820, 821, 910.
 
NOT recommended for other Icoms (7000, 706, 703..) using the OPC589 modular adapter. 
 
My design target fits Icom radios ONLY - please don't ask about others.
