Wooden Chopping Cutting Board, multi timber, unique.

On offer for this Auction is a unique wooden chopping board as seen in the gallery (first) photo. This board is 47cm long x 31cm wide x 3.5cm thick. It is uniquely crafted from a variety of beautiful timbers from around the world. No two boards are the same.

My boards on offer have, American Oak, New Guinea Rosewood, Jarrah, Tasmanian Oak, Hoop Pine. Other boards have a variety of other timbers as well.

The board has curved corners and curved edges. The board has a unique juice channel machined 4cm in from the edge. This board would be delivered already oiled unless you would like me to leave it raw (un-oiled) for you ( no charge no problems just let me know at time of purchase. I have oiled one for the photos you can easily see it.

These boards are individually hand crafted at my factory (QDoors phone 07 3803 1806) where we make Timber Cabinet Doors, Timber Benchtops and other assorted timber products, and I just got sick of all the waste strips of timber we just used throw out. Hence .........cutting boards. All my family and friends now have one, and they all say why don't you EBAY them so here I am.

To care for your cutting board simply apply two coats (both sides of the board) with a vegetable based oil (quality olive oil is best). Then simply treat it as you would any other cutting board except DO NOT SOAK in the SINK and DO NOT wash in the DISHWASHER. Re oil whenever you think it is getting a little dry to preserve the board.

Shops sell these type of boards for between $80 and $200. We have sold these boards at the local markets for $40- $45 but you pay as you see fit.
