Special Postmark - Day 1 - 15 July 2008 - Opening Mass

Includes all 3 WYD stamps - 50c, $1.35, $2.00

Pope Benedict XV1 Coloured Uncirculated $1 Coin

The standard PNC was released with the 50c World Youth Day stamp. What makes this pnc special is that the 2 international stamps released as part of WYD stamp issue have been added and Cancelled with the Day 1 Pictorial postmark Sydney NSW 2000.  

 A note on the second postmark: The stamps and postmark have been well positioned so that the postmark is clear and well applied.

There will be 6 postmarks available during each day of World Youth Day, postmarked Sydney NSW 2000

Tues 15 July - Opening Mass

Wed 16 July - Youth Festival

Thur 17 July - Papal Arrival

Fri 18 July - Stations of the Cross
