For the face: e.g. acne scarring based on the technique called "needling". The skin is stimulated to produce new collagen and elastin production such that the acne/burn scars are in-filled naturally.
The needles are engineered to penetrate sharply and cleanly without unnecessary trauma caused by blunt needles. Hence there is no unnecessary bruising.
For the scalp: This particular model is also ideal for the scalp because of the higher number of pins per roll. This ensures that the maximum number of penetrations with each passing. 1.0mm needles are best because needles shorter than this will not reach the desired depth.
The roller is 13.5cm in length with 192 pins to deliver maximum efficacy. Needle length 1.0mm, gauge 0.25mm and width 20mm.
The high number of pins ensures the area is finely and evenly treated.
It is manufactured with the highest grade stainless steel needles.
This particular model is used by our network of Australasian cosmetic doctors. They are brand new. Each item is inspected and sealed before delivery.

FAQ
Will the roller cause bleeding?
No, it will not cause bleeding unless you use excessive force.
How do I use it?
It depends on where and the condition you are treating. In general, this is to be done once daily or twice daily. Roll it over the area to be treated for 20 times. If you are also applying active ingredients to it, then roll it again 20 times after application of cream or lotion. Clean the roller before and after use.
Should I use longer needles eg 2.0mm?
Longer needles are meant for physicians' use only. The longer needles should cause bleeding and bruising intentionally.
How to keep it clean?
If the roller is dirty, run hot water over it as often as you like. You can also dip it in antiseptic lotion.
When should you replace the roller?
You will notice the needles being blunt depending on use. In the case of our rollers, they easily last more than 3 months. If you drop a roller on a hard surface, needles will be blunted and you will need to replace it.
2.0mm rollers are available for the same price. Should you wish to purchase a 2.0mm roller, all you need to do is to purchase this current listing and email us IMMEDIATELY so we can send out the 2.0mm roller. We post our purchased item promptly upon payment.
