Hyperpak Performance Ignition

These are TCI (Transistor Controlled Ignition)units to suit Yamaha 1982 1983 1984 1985 1986 1987 FJ400 FJ550 FJ650 FJ750 FJ900 FJ1100 FJ 400 FJ 550 FJ 650 FJ 750 FJ 900 FJ 1100 XJ400 XJ550 XJ650 XJ750 XJ900 XJ1100 XJ 400 XJ 550 XJ 650 XJ 750 XJ 900 XJ 1100 bikes.

The Hyperpak TCI Ignition units are a replacement for the original TCI Ignition unit at a fraction of the cost. They also offer greater reliability than the original whilst supplying a much improved bottom to high end performance...this is due mainly to a modified timing curve and longer dwell producing a much higher KV than normal.

The Hyperpak ignitions will suit Standard and modified engines without further modifications (for example, will run on original HT Coils) although aftermarket HT Coils will further enhance the performance. The high energy spark will allow the use of high octane fuels such as Methanol.

The Hyperpak Ignitions are a plug in replacement, they also carry a 12 month warranty. As you can see from our feedback,the Hyperpak ignitions are a marked improvement over the original ignitions.

On purchase, please state the year and model of bike so as the correct ignition unit can be sent. Also, where possible, please supply the model number from your original Ignition unit (TCI), as this will help us to identify the correct Ignition unit for the bike.

For example, Ignition unit is for a 1985 XJ900, TCI model is TID14-21.

NOTE: as stated above, these Hyperpak Ignitions are only suited for the above models...if you have a bike that is outside of these years please email us with the year and TCI model and we still may be able to help as some models ran past these dates in some countrys, e.g the XJ900 ran through to 1992
